Tuition

From beginners to advanced levels, pupils are taught how to use their voice correctly, with emphasis given to breath control as the foundation of a solid technique. From Musical Theatre to Classical song and Opera, a wide variety of repertoire is studied according to a singer’s individual preferences and vocal abilities.

Coaching

Coaching prepares the singer for successful live performance. From the beginner with a song to sing at a wedding in six months to the aspiring professional with an audition in six weeks, this process readies the singer for the big day. Attention is given to the selection of audition pieces, the physicality of performance and to confident presentation.

Education

For singing, the starting age is typically around 14 years of age. Students may choose to take Associated Board Examinations with preparation offered for Grades 1 to 8 and on to Diploma level if desired. Candidates will benefit from guidance on suitable examination repertoire and coaching of pre-set pieces.
